Jay Shafer of Tumbleweed Tiny House Company actually lives in a single-bedroom, fully furnished house that is less than 100-square-feet in total. [via]
Jay says his hatred for vacuuming as one of the reasons for living in such a tiny space, but he also says he finds no need to spew excess greenhouse gasses into the environment (and living on a literal tiny footprint is one way to tackle that issue). And for the price of a moderately-priced car, you too can have a tiny house to live in, complete with wheels to haul the house wherever you go. I dunno about you, but this whole idea sounds pretty tempting and I’d love to give it a try. I’m used to living in tiny quarters and I wonder if I’d go crazy trying to live in a space less than 100-square-feet. Who knows…
I like! Especially all that wood!
