This is a bit of an old post, but it’s still relevant given the increasing amount of people buying SLRs that can also shoot video. Photographer Chase Jarvis is seen above explaining how he manages to shoot such compelling POV shots using a Bogen/Manfrotto Magic Arm Kit with a Super Clamp. It’s a relatively cheap and effective way to get the shot you want without having to run with your camera alongside a moving object.

I’m looking to pick up the kit myself especially since it’s less than $130 on Amazon.

What do you think? Is there a better alternative to this that’s just as stable and good?
