It’s been a long time in the making, but yesterday I finally received the wonderful Designing Obama book compiled by Scott Thomas. It was awesome to see the project originate through Kickstarter and gain such a huge following in such a short amount of time. The book is incredibly comprehensive in outlining the intent and design criteria for the Obama Presidential campaign. The book not only compiles some of the best artwork stemming from Obama supporters but it also goes very in-depth at the actual design process the Obama design team went through to make sure the logo united the most amount of people possible behind his campaign.

Through the book, you can see variation upon variation of designs for the “O” logo and also see it used in some very clever ways across the country at different campaign events. The book itself is just amazing and I highly encourage you all to get a hand on this limited book before it goes out of print.

If you missed out on the pre-order pricing, you can have a second chance at getting the book now by placing an order here. Check out some select images below.
