In a few weeks, it’ll be the 9th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. To remember the events of the day and the lives that were lost and sacrificed, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum released this app for the iPhone called Explore 9/11 that includes a bunch of photos and first-person accounts of the events that day. The app leads you on a walking tour of the current Ground Zero location and at each designated stop you can press play and listen to what happened at that location. There are a lot of incredible images in this app that I have never seen published elsewhere. You should check it out if you’ve got an iPod touch or an iPhone.
