Chris Burden’s “Urban Light” installation, a permanent part of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, is a sight to behold. While it’s been on display in LA since 2008, I only first became aware of it while watching No Strings Attached where an important scene takes place in this very location.

The Urban Light installation is comprised of 202 restored cast-iron lamps from the streets of LA, all painted the same neutral gray and all lined up in a row outside the LCMA. You can view an entire online exhibit of the Urban Light installation at the LACMA website
