Lifehacker posted this video of Evan Handshaw-Plath giving a quick 5-minute talk at OSCON 2011 on how to hack (or game) the frequent flyer system that many airlines offer. This is like extreme coupon clippers but for flying and his tips are somewhat achievable if you’ve got the time to actually do what’s required (basically signing up for a lot of stuff and having a lot of free time to fly to places you don’t really care to go).

A very interesting talk and one that seems fit for somebody who really wants to travel the world. If only I had the time…
