See here? That Korean kid sticking out like a sore thumb is Chris Jeon, a 21-year-old UCLA student who thought it would be awesome to join rebel forces in Libya to fight against Muammar Qaddafi’s loyal forces. This isn’t a joke, this kid bought an $800 ticket — one-way — and just wanted to be part of a revolution in history. It didn’t matter where it was, he just wanted to be a part of it and the war in Libya has granted him his wish.

What dangers does he face in the next month or so before he decides to fly back to California to start school again? Well, many, including the very real possibility of death. If he survives I’m sure there will be a story to tell, but at the rate things are going now with his story online there’s no question he’ll be labeled an idiot first before an actual  hero in a war.
