One of the more eye-opening things coming out this 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks is this report from The New York Times about the emergency and FAA audio tapes that crossed the airs on the morning of 9/11/2001. The full-transcript with audio is remarkable in its chilling detail of the confusion and events of the day.

While it’s not for the faint of heart, I believe the audio tapes are worth listening to in its entirety.
