This is so insane. A cashier at a McDonald’s in Greenwich Village was caught on camera beating two customers with a metal rod who had jumped the counter to attack him. There are clearly no winners in this situation. [via]
According to The New York Post:
Rayon McIntosh, 31, of The Bronx — who in 2000 was convicted of manslaughter — was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Customers Denise Darbeau, 24, of Queens, and Rachel Edwards, 24, of Brooklyn, were charged with menacing, according to WPIX/Channel 11
Geez. Crazy!
Seriously, who was taking video of this?
How did they know this was going to happen?
Was the one shooting video a friend of either party?
@John, it could have just been some person recording the argument that could be heard at the start of the video. No action too small should be ignored when you want to capture something on film, because things can get serious real quick!
I think the guy with the rod was okay beating the people with a pole ’till he started beating them once they were no longer a threat.
Good thing there’s a pole behind the fryer, if not it would’ve been 2vs1. I hope they don’t fire the guy, and his worker buddy just stood there.
