I just caught wind of this wonderful art project from SRAM called the SRAM pART PROJECT where artists from all over the world make pieces of art with spare bicycle parts and then auction them off to benefit the World Bicycle Relief. The funds go directly to helping people in need all around the world and you get to look at nice art while you’re at it.

The pieces being auctioned are gorgeous mechanical structures and each one is a bargain considering their level of detail and intricate construction. If you want to bid on some works of art, you can visit the World Bicycle Relief eBay page until this Wednesday, November 30, 2011.
