This video is somewhat reminiscent of a project photographed by Edward Burtynsky, but it’s not by him. In the video here, the camera pans ever so slowly over what I believe is a Chinese meat-producing factory. From the fattening of pigs to the milking of cows, and eventually to the slaughtering floor, it’s all laid out here in a way that drives home the case for grass-fed beef and organic products like never before.

And if you can look past the subject matter, you’ll also realize that for a slaughter-house video, this is very well done. Clean, no crazy graphics at all, just slow pans that make you feel like the camera is truly your own eye witnessing it all in front of you.
