USA Today has a slideshow of images from American Airlines’ new Boeing 777-300ER luxury airliner. Compared to its previous aircraft interiors, this is a huge step up for AA as it aims to reposition itself as a viable alternative to larger airlines flying newer and more hi-tech aircraft. To drive the point home, American Airlines is focusing on interior design heavily with mood lighting and tons of high-tech gadgets for the flier to feel right at home in this digital age. That includes a TV screen at every seat, Wi-Fi on international routes (which this aircraft will fly), USB and power outlets for every seat (not just every row), and other luxury goods for those willing to pay for business and First Class seats. Judging by the photos, it really does look nice.

If you forgot, American Airlines and US Airways recently merged¬†creating the world’s largest airline.
