Wow, this is amazing. Architect Simon Storey bought a former 350-square-foot space in LA (on a 780-square-foot lot) and convinced the building department to let him build upwards. He got the permit for it and created what is essentially one of LA’s most narrow dwellings. But in that narrow space is a spacious 960-square-foot home and office that is functional and beautiful. It’s a little bit of urban life in the suburbs of LA.
