I’ve become very weary of Kickstarter projects lately, but Jackson Robinson seems to deliver (remember his first project – Federal 52?). Here’s the 2nd part of his gorgeous Federal 52 playing card project, inspired by currency design.

This new project brings with it a number of pledge tiers. It can be confusing at first, but he lays it all out clearly on the Kickstater page. Here’s what you need to know to decide which pledge you want to jump into: There are 4 decks essentially.

  • 2 UNBRANDED decks, one red (Reserve Note) and one blue (Silver Certificate)
  • 2 Bicycle branded decks, one red (Reserve Note and one blue (SilverĀ Certificate).

That makes 4 decks in total to collect if you’re into that sort of thing. Otherwise, you can simply support Jackson with any number of combination of decks you choose.

And for the ambitious ones, there’s a $40 limited edition Reserve Note black deck. Not into that sort of thing, but if you are, it’ll be $40 on top of whatever you’re already planning to pledge. Support the project here!
