These human interest pieces from The Verge are so incredibly fascinating. This one is about James Arthur Ray and his self-help program which included an unfortunate sweat lodge in Arizona that eventually killed 3 people in 2009 (one later died at a hospital). Ray was convicted and went to prison for 20 months for killing 2 of the 3 people and he is now out of jail (as of July 2013) and unsure of what is going to do next. Victims’ families are hoping that he does not continue his self-help program.

I’m not sure if this is connected at all, but it certainly echoes the Bluth sweat lodge seen in season 4 of Arrested Development.
