While in upstate New York during Hurricane Sandy and filming the movie Cold Comes The Night, actor Bryan Cranston challenged the production assistants on the film to write the script for a short film in which he would agree to star in it. It was purely a project meant to pass the time while bored upstate. In the end, Cranston chose Brandon Polanco’s script for “Writer’s Block” and this is the 13-minute short film that came from it.
