I heard about this organization called The Adventure Project on Sunday. At its core, the organization helps to solve a growing problem in rural communities in Africa by training and employing locals on how to fix broken water wells. Many organizations focus primarily on bringing new technologies to communities that give them clean water. This, by itself, is a great thing, but what happens when those new technologies break? Often times, the community has no way of fixing this broken technology and thus everybody ends up going back to swamps to fetch water.

Above is a video from The Adventure Project about a woman named Diana who is one of the few female engineers in Africa working to alleviate this problem. If you donate to The Adventure Project today, One Day’s Wages will match that donation, effectively doubling your donation on your behalf.
