The book I’m reading now, Salt Sugar Fat by Michael Moss talks about this exact thing happening with many different brands from Coca-Cola to Oreo cookies. The fact is, by offering a “healthy” alternative to the regular stuff, Domino’s is essentially convincing children to buy Domino’s pizza outside of school where they can’t get access to these healthy alternatives. It’s a marketing trick that works really effectively and the poorest people end up paying for it. :(
