Here’s a neat video from GE Focus Forward about how scientists are making robots seem a bit more human without actually having to make them look more human. Amazingly, having a robot cheat at a simple game is enough to make a person see that robot as more human-like.

I actually thought about how filming must have been like after the scandal broke out.


I love these Bee Stinger playing cards that Lovely Package posted about this weekend. According to theory11, the cards were introduced to casinos as a countermeasure against cheating. The faded edges are pretty neat. Price for one deck: $4.95 (they get cheaper as you buy more decks at once).
