Hasselblad just announced a new compact digital camera called Stellar that will sell for $2000 USD. The camera has a 20MP sensor with a Zeiss lens with 3.6x optical zoom. Overall, not a very exciting announcement, unless of course you are completely sold on the Hasselblad name.

Yuck. That synthetic leather grip is horrible. And to think it comes in 2 other colors as well.


I love the aperture ring on the fixed lens. A fantastic full-frame compact camera it seems, but in my opinion not worth the steep $2800 price.
