Going back to a time before I knew Brooklyn. I don’t have any memories of these tanks, but it’s neat to see them up in the skyline like that (if only for a few seconds before they come down). Here’s one more video.

I like these photos of gas stations at nighttime by Richard Vantielcke. I think he used the vignette feature a bit too hard, but I still like how still these gas stations are.
According to the AP, that’s the 2nd highest percentage in about 30 years. Where’s that high-speed rail for the USA?
