WHOA! I haven’t been following the jailbreak scene lately, but it turns out Evasi0n has finished and released an iOS 7 jailbreak! UPDATE: I successfully jailbroke my iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4. Proof below! Yay, it works! REMEMBER, disable your passcode lock BEFORE you jailbreak. Also, always back up your iPhone before jailbreaking.

Great video about a new app called Semi-Restore┬áthat let’s you roll-back your iPhone to stock iOS 6.1.2 without losing your jailbreak.┬áThis is useful if you find a jailbreak tweak messing with your iPhone and want to essentially reset the device without going through the whole jailbreak process again.

This is exactly what I thought of first when I saw the introduction of iOS 7. The new OS is making some jailbreak tweaks unnecessary. Of course, this is a little like Apple playing catchup though.
