Here’s a neat video of Barbora Veselá created a collection of shoes that mimics old topographical maps in their appearance. She achieves this effect by layering pieces of leather scraps over each other and then sanding them all down to a smooth touch.


Here’s the beautiful 13th edition of The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World. There are a bunch of these “atlases of the world” books, but this is by far the best one.
