This year’s “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” event put on by the Michael J. Fox Foundation featured a special end-of-the-night performance by Michael J. Fox himself playing “Johnny B. Goode” just like he did in Back To The Future.


Holy cow, what great news! The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Nike have together raised over $5 million through the auction of 1500 pairs of Nike MAG sneakers. And get this! With Sergey Brin’s (co-founder of Google) match of that funding amount, that’s a total of over $11 million raised for Parkinson’s research! AWESOME!

If you watch closely, Tinker Hatfield gives another hint that there might be a more general release of the Nike MAG sneakers come 2015.
